In a recent article written by the Daily Mercury MacKay has had a recent string of wild drawcards coming to McKay which has presented an attractive proposition to the four-hour drive market.

The tourism general manager Tas Webber said

“We can’t do it all ourselves, so developments like these are so positive for our region,” he said.

It’s so good to see other members of the community, other business owners coming on-board and seeing opportunities we see.

It’ll put Mackay in the best light, push us forward, increase visitor numbers and increase their length of stay while they’re here”
